Framed in a 1" pewter gray frame to 26" x 20" overall
Percheron horses have a magnificent size, intelligence, and calmness about them. They are one of the gentle giant breeds of horse. Percherons go through a color change as they mature from solid black as babies to pure white in old age. The middle years have them wearing the most beautiful dappled gray, shading to dark or light depending on where in their color phase they are. Percherons are used to pull carriages, and were used for jousting because of their size. |
