Deborah Eve Alastra paints because she needs to...perhaps to respond to the beauty she sees all around...without painting, the world for Deborah would be a difficult place. For the last 28 years, in between having and raising two wonderful children, Deborah has kept her palette wet...dabbling whenever possible. Watercolors have always kept Deborah Alastra the happiest and most fulfilled; the integrity of the medium itself, she finds much more uplifting than oils or printmaking; both of which Deborah has also worked in.
