The oldest oak stands at the edge of a meadow while around it are many younger oaks from the acorns that have dropped. Nurtured by the sun, the rain, and wind, it has withstood even the worst that nature can give for more than 400 years. Fortunately, the place where the Mother Oak stands is now in a 2,000 acre conservancy. |
