The sandstone cliffs along the shore appear to be fragile and easily crumbled but they stand against the constant barrage of waves. They change dramatically during the daytime, from soft brown in the morning, bleached almost white by the noonday sun, and mellowed to golden blues at sunset. The life guard tower looks out for the unlucky boats and people who venture too near. |
